Thought Shibuya Parco was only for shopping?
What happens?
Shibuya Parco Art Week pulls together performance, installation, and sound into one dynamic art festival. It is one of the many events that make up the city-wide Art Week Tokyo.
Highlights 2025
The week opens with ANA-2, a performance by artist Hiraku Suzuki and sound experimentalist FUJI|||||||||||TA.
Running alongside the performance, the P.O.N.D. 2025 group show at Parco Museum Tokyo (4F) brings together twelve artists from Japan and abroad under the theme “Swing Beyond”. Downstairs, Gallery X (B1F) features new works by Aiku Kurotaki, winner of the 2024 P.O.N.D. Award.
On the second floor, Takahiko Yanagisawa’s Phantascape at OIL by Bijutsu Techo layers photography and ceramics into dreamlike landscapes. Meanwhile, EASTEAST_TOKYO 2025 (1F Art Wall) hosts a photography exhibition with images of post-earthquake debris from Ishikawa’s Noto Peninsula.
There will also be pop-ups to round out the mix.
