Hotel Options

Make shumai steamed dumplings and meet new people at this cooking party in Akihabara.

What to expect

Shumai are steamed dumplings packed with savory filling and a longtime favorite in Japanese home cooking and dim sum culture. At WeLearn Café, you’ll learn how to fill, wrap, and steam your own shumai while spending the afternoon chatting with other participants. The cooking process is simple and interactive, making it easy to relax, share conversations, and enjoy the experience together.

No cooking experience is necessary — the event is designed to be casual and beginner-friendly, with staff on hand to guide you through each step. Ingredients and equipment are all included, so you can come empty-handed, whether you’re joining alone or with friends. English support will also be available on the day.
