At the Sketchbook Exhibition in Yokohama, get a glimpse of the lives of 27 talented artists through their sketches.
What to expect
The Sketchbook Exhibition has over 100 sketchbooks on display, each hand-drawn by an artist in their unique style and technique. They’ll showcase their hopes, dreams, and fears over the pages. These personal diaries are the centerpiece of this exhibit, and you can leaf through the sketches of skylines and stories.
There are also interactive exhibits for all ages, as well as art discussions where you can talk about the meaning of the sketches. The artists themselves will also be there, so you can ask them for tips or ideas.
How to get there
The event will be held in the Bluff No. 18 Building in Yokohama, a beautiful and historically protected site. The easiest way to get there is by walking from JR Ishikawacho Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line. From the station exit, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the building.
