May the fourth be with you! And don’t forget the return of the fifth, as Tokyo Solamachi hosts a Star Wars pop-up cafe. Relive scenes from The Mandalorian and the classic trilogies over some themed snacks and sabers.
What to expect
Held to commemorate Star Wars Day (May 4th), the pop-up cafe will be running from April 20 to June 9. Guests can try meals and sweet treats inspired by The Mandalorian and the original trilogy. These include lightsaber sandwiches, C-3PO bread, R2-D2 yogurts, or even grilled frogs if you’re feeling like Grogu. Themed Sith and Jedi drinks pair well with the food — will you be brave enough to challenge Lord Vader’s blackwater cocktail?
The food isn’t the only reason to go. Find a selection of exclusive themed items to buy, from keychains to canvas art. And don’t think you’ll be bored while eating — the cafe has original art and cute, Star Wars-themed decor to keep your eyes fed too.
Tickets
While you can walk in, it’s highly recommended that you reserve in advance. Reservations are ¥770 per person, and can be made online. On top of quick access, your reservation fee will also get you a limited edition Star Wars bookmark to take home.
