Music spills out onto the streets at the Sumida Street Jazz Festival.
What happens?
Turning Ryōgoku, Kinshichō, and Oshiage into one giant block party, the Sumida Street Jazz Festival is a celebration of music and community spirit.
Don’t let the name fool you: it’s not just jazz. One minute you’ll catch a tight funk groove, the next it’s J-pop or a brass band rattling the pavement. Parks, plazas, and shopping streets all become fair game.
There will also be craft beer and food vendors serving wild game and more.
