Synchronicity Festival is a major music festival and showcase event held across a ton of Shibuya music venues each year.
What to expect
Since its start in 2001, Synchronicity has grown to become one of the most looked-forward-to inner-city music events on the annual festival calendar. Held across 11 venues with nearly 150 acts performing, while it’s hard to avoid clashes, it’s more than worth the entry price to catch some of the best established and emerging indie, hip hop, and electronic artists around.
This year’s event will include domestic artists like Lite, Helsinki Lambda Club, and Lil Soft Tennis, as well as a selection of emerging international artists.
Schedule
The core part of the festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12, with a pre-party the night before at Duo Music Exchange. Opening times for the festival vary by venue; head to the Synchronicity website for the official timetable.
Tickets and entry
One-day passes are ¥9,800, two-day passes are ¥17,800. Friday night pre-party tickets are ¥4,800
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
