What happens?
This three-day waterfront festival brings together craft stalls and local food along the Tennozu Canal. Browse handmade goods from independent makers, then grab something from the food trucks. Pick from Ukrainian meat pies, minced meat curry, burgers, roast beef, French fries, and more.
Area A is the outdoor, waterside section for food and hanging out, while Area B at Isle Shinagawa focuses more on shopping and vendor stalls.
Schedule
Canal Fes takes place twice a year: in spring and fall.
Here’s the schedule for the spring edition:
On Friday, May 22, it is open from 5 to 9 p.m., with Area A operating as a food-vendors-only evening.
On Saturday, May 23, Area A is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., while Area B is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., although retail stalls close at 6 p.m.
On Sunday, May 24, both areas are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
How to get there
From Shinjuku Station, take the Rinkai Line (heading toward Ariake) for approximately 20 minutes to Tennoz Isle Station. Alternatively, take the Tokyo Monorail for 18 minutes to Tennoz Isle Station.
