The First Circular: Searching for Tomorrow’s Standard

Free

Help make the world a better place through your fashion choices at The First CIRCULAR.

What to expect

This event encourages students and young adults to reuse rather than rebuy fashion. To promote a more sustainable recycling-oriented society, many brands will work together to show event-goers how to best reuse, repair, and upcycle.

There will be two different areas: the Experience Zone and the Learn Zone. In the Experience Zone, try your hand at indigo dyeing or get creative with repairing and remaking clothes. Over in the Learn Zone, you can watch fashion films, listen to insightful talk sessions, shop from sustainable fashion brands, and view an exhibition by students from Hokkaido Bunka Fashion College.

Tickets

You can enter the event and participate in the workshops for free. However, you will need to reserve a spot online beforehand. On the day, you will need to show your confirmation email to a staff member.

How to get there

This event is taking place at Harakado, a shopping complex in Harajuku. The best way to get there is to take the JR Yamanote Line to Harajuku Station and then walk for 5 minutes.

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
