Come hungry, leave happy. This outdoor food event is all about pairing wine and meat.
What to expect
The Meat Yokohama is a food festival focused on — you guessed it — meat. It aims to bring together the juiciest, smokiest, and most flavor-packed meat dishes Japan has to offer.
There will be over 30 different meat dishes, from seared beef cutlets and smoky skirt steak to Italian-style grilled offal, Korean samgyeopsal, and golden fried chicken, all starting at ¥800.
The wine booth, curated by Grand Marche, will offer a variety of wines. There will also be a sports area and live music.
Schedule 2025
The Meat Yokohama takes place from April 25 to May 6. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
How to get there
The Meat Yokohama will be held at the Yamashita Pier Special Venue.
From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Shōnan–Shinjuku Line (toward Zushi) or the Yamanote Line (toward Tokyo) and transfer at Shinagawa Station, then switch to the Keikyu Main Line to Yokohama Station. From there, hop on the Minatomirai Line to Motomachi-Chūkagai Station, exit from Exit 4 or 5, and walk 8 minutes to Yamashita Pier. The total journey takes around 50 minutes.
