Tokyo’s Santa Run sees a parade of Santas make their way around Yoyogi Park and beyond for a children’s charity. There will even be a special appearance from a suitably dressed Rilakuma.
Double up the fun and head to Fiesta de España happening at the same time.
What happens?
This charity event will see the Santas set off from Yoyogi Park and make a loop around Meiji Dori and Jingumae Intersection before arriving back at Yoyogi Park. Registration starts at 10 a.m. and the walk/parade/run will start at midday.
Entry and tickets
While it’s free to watch the hoards of Santas, you may want to grab that red-and-white suit and join in the fun. Tickets cost ¥3,300 for adults, ¥2,200 for students, and ¥1,100 for children. Under 3s can participate for free.
You can bring your own costume or they will give you one.
Money made from the tickets will go to supporting children fighting diseases in Japan, as well as children overseas.
