Tokyo Idol Festival is the world’s largest celebration of idol culture.

What happens?

Kicking off at the height of idol culture’s resurgence in 2010, it has since exploded in popularity, regularly attracting tens of thousands of die-hard attendees.

This year’s event will once again see around 200 idol acts descend on the Odaiba and Aomi area.

Schedule 2026

Stages will be dedicated to both established acts such as AKB48, =LOVE, i☆Ris, and HKT48, alongside up-and-coming groups including iON!, AsIs, AOAO, and the newly debuted α+.

Tickets 2026

Regular tickets are currently on sale for ¥11,500 for single-day tickets, or ¥30,000 for a 3-day pass.

How to get there

The festival takes place throughout the Odaiba and Aomi areas. To get there from Tokyo Station, take the JR Yamanote Line to Shimbashi, then the Yurikamome to Aomi or Tokyo Teleport.

From Shibuya or Shinjuku, you can take the JR Saikyo/Rinkai Line directly to Tokyo Teleport Station. The festival areas are all within walking distance of both Aomi and Tokyo Teleport stations.
