You don’t need to travel outside of Tokyo to grab a little slice of the Netherlands. You can see rows upon rows of tulips with a windmill backdrop right in Ukima Park.
What happens?
There will be more than 20,000 tulips, as well as cherry blossoms, lit up during the Flower and Light Movement: Ukima Park and Tulips event. From mid- to late April, the primroses will also be illuminated.
Note: Toneri Park in Adachi will also get a night-time makeover with light-ups of cherry blossoms and nemophila.
Schedule
The light-up will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
