Welcome Home: Gianluca Galtrucco Photo Exhibition

6:00pm – 9:00pm
Free

A unique photography exhibition hits Tokyo as Gianluca Galtrucco shows his take on civilization.

What to expect

Pocko, a talent agency from London, opens a new space in Tokyo with Gianluca Galtrucco’s latest exhibition, curated by Nicola Schwartz and Kana Kawanishi.

The exhibition delves into the intricate interplay between fiction and reality, unfolding in the iconic landscapes of Hollywood and the expansive deserts beyond — a terrain deeply ingrained in American cinematic culture.

The photographer, Gianluca Galtrucco, is a Los Angeles-based photographer and filmmaker. His work has appeared in publications such as Rolling Stone, Wired, and Art in America.

How to get there

The Welcome Home exhibition will be held at the Pocko Gallery Tokyo in Nishiazabu. The closest station is Nogizaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, an 11-minute walk away.

Note that the exhibition will be open on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. It will be open on weekdays for reservations only.

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
