If you’re a fan of the hunny-loving bear from childhood, the Winnie the Pooh Café will be a nostalgia trip you won’t want to miss.
What to expect
Take a trip to the Hundred Acre Wood through the Winnie the Pooh Cafe in Shinjuku. Sit amongst your old forest friends, and lose yourself in childhood nostalgia with character-inspired snacks and drinks.
Will you try the Tigger Curry with orange and brown stripes? Or perhaps the Piglet “Oh dear!” Plate, colored pink with bread, cream sauce, and beans. The drinks also join in the fun, with honey jelly milk for our favorite bear, and a blueberry yogurt smoothie to make sure you don’t forget Eeyore.
Once you’re done eating, you also have your pick of Winnie the Pooh goodies. Pick up everything from charms to shopping bags, and take your friends home with you.
Tickets
You can decide to reserve a spot in advance for ¥770, or just arrive on the day. We’d suggest reserving though — the café looks popular and a reservation guarantees your seat.
Not only that, reserved guests also receive a limited edition badge to take home as part of their ticket.
How to get there
The Winnie the Pooh Café is being held at Oh My Cafe! on the 7th floor of the Shinjuku Mylord building. Take a quick 1-minute walk from Shinjuku Station’s south exit, and you’re at the doors.
