A weekly night of comedy in Roppongi that transcends language and culture.

What to expect

Yoshimoto Comedy Night heads to the Roppongi Theater stage every Monday, bringing locals and visitors a night of laughs and surprises. Don’t expect extended monologues, though — the comedy at Yoshimoto is largely driven by non-verbal physical humor, skits, prop comedy, and feats of sheer amazement.

Coming up this month is viral comedian Kazuhisa Uekusa, better known as Wes-P or Mr Uekusa. Coming off the back of numerous international television appearances such as Asia’s Got Talent and James Corden, he joined the Yoshimoto Comedy Squad in 2022 and hasn’t looked back since.

Yoshimoto Comedy Night OWARAI takes place every Monday night. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 5:30 p.m.

Entry

Entry is ¥3,800 online or at the door. Door tickets are available one hour before the show starts. Ticket prices include one drink; alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available. All seats are unreserved.

How to get there

Yoshimoto Roppongi Theater is directly next to Exit 6 of Roppongi Station on the Toei Oedo Line. On the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, it’s a 5-minute walk from Exit 4B of Roppongi Station.
