A library dedicated to the world-renowned author Haruki Murakami, the Waseda International House of Literature opened in 2021. The library holds over 3000 items including first editions, translations, records and memntos from Murakami's Jazz Cafe days. Inviting readers to explore his works as well as getting to know him, the space is a creative endeavour between the author, the university and the architect Kengo Kuma.
