This is both the studio and gallery of Nihonga (Japanese style painting) artist Allan West.
Originally hailing from Washington DC, West came to Japan in 1982 to study the art of traditional Japanese painting from master Kayama Matazo at Tokyo University of the Arts.
The gallery is a 5 minute walk from Nezu Station.
