The cute creatures that have taken Japan by storm have their own dedicated shop in Kawagoe. Here, you can find goods of Chiikawa, the mouse-like character, among other members of the friendly gang.
This particular store has the concept of “Mogu Mogu”, which means eating. That means here, you can get your hands on original goods, snacks, and Kawagoe-themed stuff.
How to get there
The shop is located on Kashiya Yokocho, also known as “Sweets Alley”. To get there from Kawagoe Station, take the Kawagoe-02 bus to Hachimandanchi and get off at Fudanotsuji. From there, it is a 3-minute walk. The overall journey takes 11 minutes and costs ¥210.
