Fukagawa Fudō-dō is a Buddhist temple belonging to the esoteric Shingon sect.

Unlike a lot of other temples in Tokyo, where nothing seems to be going on, there are regular fire rituals here, accompanied by monks droning sutras and beating huge taiko drums.

The street that leads to the temple is lined with souvenir shops and cafes including Monz. Right next door is Tomioka Hachimangu.
