Established in 1914, Kanaya Brush Shop has spent over a century perfecting the art of brush-making, offering everything from fine kintsugi brushes to luxurious makeup brushes.
The shelves are lined with meticulously crafted bristles made from natural materials, each designed for a specific purpose– whether it’s combing hair, scrubbing dishes, or delicately painting sauces and glazes onto fish.
In the Asakusa area, Kanaya has two other locations: Denbōin Street and Kappabashi.
