Mount Mitake is a beautiful mountain atop of which sits a village, shrines and a temple. Though technically within Tokyo, at almost 1000 meters elevation “Mitake-san” couldn’t be further from the busy metropolis in atmosphere. It’s quite a popular hiking trail and is really stunning in spring and autumn.
