A street near Ochanomizu Station that is famous for guitars and musical gear. Meidai Dōri is a contraction of “Meiji University Street” as the entrance to the university is on the street.
The shops offer both brand new guitars and used guitars. Since there are so many shops in such a small area, it’s easy to compare prices.
Don’t be intimidated if you’re a beginner. Most shops have cheap starter guitars, and they can give you personalized advice so that you get the right instrument for your needs.
