POLA is the Avon of Japan. They’re known for their cosmetics and toiletries sold by sales people who are often housewives. The company also posesses one of the best art collections in the whole of Japan.
The main Pola Museum of Art is in Hakone, but Annex also plays host to both exhibitions from the POLA collection and from outside.
