Shop for Snoopy goods at Snoopy Village Kawagoe, a two-story store dedicated to the lovable beagle and his yellow bird friend.

What to expect

Housed in a traditional Edo-style building, Snoopy Village Kawagoe offers fans a range of exclusive goods available only at this location.

Of particular note are the Snoopy and sweet potato-themed items, inspired by Kawagoe’s signature treat. You’ll also find traditional lacquerware, geta (wooden sandals), and other craft goods — all featuring Snoopy.

Suggested Activity
Get Tickets To the Samurai Restaurant in Shinjuku (Up to 30% Off)
Experience one of the craziest, most colorful places in Tokyo — the all-new Samurai Restaurant, from the creators of the Robot Restaurant. Get your tickets and sit back for a wild show of lasers, lights, samurai, dancers and other uniquely Japanese weirdness.

Similar to other Snoopy Villages in Japan, like the ones in Karuizawa and Ise, you can get general Snoopy goods too — think plushies, stationery, and snacks.

Snoopy chocolate

At the back of the store, you’ll find Snoopy Chocolate — a specialty chocolate brand featuring high-quality treats with Snoopy motifs. The chocolates are categorized by intended recipient, such as romantic interests, friends, or family. Each bar also includes a themed comic strip that reflects the relationship.

For the Woodstock fans

As you head up the yellow Woodstock-themed stairs, you’ll arrive at the floor dedicated to this fluffy bird. Here, you’ll find even more plushies and snacks. There’s even a Woodstock “rare cheesecake” on a stick — although it was sold out on the day of our visit.

Snoopy snacks to go

Talking of sweet treats, make sure to stop by the takeout and grab a Snoopy Yaki — filled with sweet potato, of course. You can also get Snoopy-themed soft serve and marshmallow drinks, complete with an adorable Snoopy-shaped marshmallow sitting in the cup. Sadly, there’s no seating inside the store.

How to get to Snoopy Village Kawagoe

From Kawagoe Station, it is a 7-minute bus ride on the Kawagoe 01 Bus (to Shinmeicho Depot). Make sure to get off at the Ichibangai stop. A ride costs ¥210.
