Japan’s most famous digital pet has a shiny new home in Harajuku.

The official Tamagotchi store, Tamagotchi Factory, opened in late 2025 — and you can find it on the third floor of Tokyu Plaza Harajuku Harakado.

What to expect

A collaboration between Bandai and BookLive, the new space aims to be more than a shop — it’s a whole “factory” experience where visitors can customize goods and join interactive activities. Add this to your list of things to do at Harakado.

Step inside and you’ll find staff dressed like factory workers, a bright, playful interior, and over 100 official Tamagotchi items, including exclusive merch.

There’s also a fill-your-own Tamagotchi experience, with tiny figurines like rice balls, candy, and the occasional pixel poop on offer — because of course.
