On the site of Tokorozawa Airfield — Japan’s first airfield opened in 1911 — the area has now been renamed to Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park. The museum has a wide range of exhibits including various replicas of early Japanese aircraft.
The closest station is Koku-koen on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, which has a YS-11 — a Japanese made passenger plane — on display outside the station.
The main museum and the large movie theatre have separate admission for ¥510 and ¥620 respectively. Alternatively, you can get a combined ticket for ¥820.
