Located in Akiruno, Tokyo Summerland combines outdoor and indoor pools with a small amusement park.

The indoor Adventure Dome features wave pools and slides in a climate-controlled setting, while the outdoor area, Adventure Lagoon, includes a 650-meter lazy river, large slides, and splash zones. Entry includes access to both pool areas and amusement rides.

Tokyo Summerland is open all year-round, with the outdoor pool open seasonally from late June through early September.

How to get there

From Shinjuku Station, take the Chūō Line to Haijima, then switch to the Itsukaichi Line to Akigawa. From there, it’s about a 35-minute walk (often in intense heat), or you could take a bus (recommended) until Tokyo Summerland and walk a couple of minutes. Either way, you’re looking at around 1.5 to 2 hours from central Tokyo.
