See Yokohama from new heights by riding the Yokohama Air Cabin.
This is Japan’s first air cabin of its kind, connecting Sakuragicho Station and Unga Park. You’ll glide above the water and the Minatomirai area, for a quick shortcut from the station to the port.
While the 360-degree view from the cabin is beautiful at any time of the day, we recommend visiting at sunset. Although it can be a bit busier then, the experience of “flying” over Yokohama as the sky changes color and the giant Ferris wheel lights up is truly one-of-a-kind.
Fun fact: The night view from this area is actually this writer’s favorite in all of Japan.
