Situated in front of the Edo Tokyo Museum, this seafood izakaya offers more than just your highballs and bar-style food.
What’s Hana no Mai?
Everything about this seafood izakaya, from the interior to the menu, is inspired by sumo culture. With a sumo ring, portraits of sumo wrestlers, and other traditional motifs, dining here feels like being in Ryogoku Kokugikan.
In regards to food, the choice is overwhelming (in a good way). Dishes include sashimi platters, beef-rib steak, and sushi rolls — just to name a few. Should you want to go all out, you could consider one of the all-you-can drink courses which come with different meal sets. Prices for these start from ¥4,000.
