A former junior high school turned collection of shops/bars/restaurants/workspaces.
What to expect
Home/Work Village is the repurposed Ikejiri Junior High School building, now home to numerous small businesses and workspaces. The first floor is home to art and lifestyle shops, cafės, a wine cellar, a craft beer bar, restaurants, and more. Upstairs, the second and third floors have work and study rooms. The upstairs rooms operate on a membership system, but they can also be hired on a drop-in basis.
As you walk around the space (which still looks very much like a school), you’ll also find event spaces, a book lounge, a gallery, a gym, and various pop-up events and workshops.
How to get there
By train, Home/Work Village is a 10-minute walk from Ikejiri-Ohashi Station on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line or a 16-minute walk from Sangenjaya Station. By bus, it’s a 4-minute walk from the Mishuku stop.
