One of Japan’s most renowned halal restaurants has a branch in Terminal 3 of Haneda Airport. With an extensive menu offering halal and vegan versions of Japan’s most popular dishes, dining here offers an authentic local cuisine experience without compromise.

What’s Honolu Premier Air Haneda?

Honolu Premier Air Haneda recreates traditional Japanese meals with a focus on authenticity, while accommodating halal and vegan diets. From A4 wagyu ramen to vegan cutlet curry (pictured above), the menu’s range is particularly impressive.

On the halal menu, there’s chicken and wagyu ramen, curry udon, wagyu curry, steak, cutlet, sashimi bowls, and onigiri. The vegan menu has slightly fewer options but still plenty to choose from. These include a vegan hamburger, ramen, omelette rice, vegetable tempura udon, and vegan cutlet curry.

There’s even a kids’ meal, served in an airplane-shaped bento box. And if you are still hungry — though the portions are fairly filling — there are also side dishes and sweets.

Prices here aren’t the most affordable, but that is to be expected at an airport. You’ll want to budget anything from ¥1,500, though there are some options, like the kitsune udon, which come in under ¥1,000. For reference, our vegan cutlet curry was ¥1,890.

The interior of the restaurant also has a nice touch of Japanese culture, with Edo-style models of castles, while maintaining a contemporary feel. Notably, this is one of, if not the most, spacious restaurant in this Terminal so you can truly sit back and relax. It’s also one of the only restaurants open until late. I comfortably dined here (again) before an after midnight flight.
