Although most famous for its anpan (anko bread), which have a dense, dessert-like filling, there are also several other sweet and savory pastries on offer. These include melon bread, cinnamon rolls, and curry bread. Expect to pay between ¥216 and ¥280 for these freshly baked goods.

What to know before you visit Yanagiya Bakery

Do you need reservations for Yanagiya Bakery?

No, you can just walk in and see what takes your fancy. We do recommend heading there as early as possible though, as lots of the bread is gone by the afternoon. Note that there are no seats inside and that the bakery only accepts cash.
