Tokyo Metro has announced the launch of a new service to send luggage from train-station lockers to 500 hotels around Tokyo.

The Tokyo Metlocker PLUS service will start running at Oshiage Station on the Hanzomon Line from May 27, 2025. There are plans to expand the service to 20 stations over time.

Bags deposited in the lockers by 2 p.m. will be delivered to the designated hotel within the Tokyo area by 7 p.m. that same day, through a service called Pikuraku PORTER, which is operated by the West Japan Railway Company.

The lockers can also be used for simple luggage storage. This costs ¥300¥600 for 3 hours, depending on the size of the locker (choose from small, medium, and large). The maximum storage charge is ¥900¥1,800 for 24 hours.

Advance reservations are possible for ¥100.

The hotel-delivery lockers at Oshiage Station are on the B2F level, near the regular lockers. These are a short walk from Exit B3.

The lockers will be operated by SPACER Inc., a company specializing in advanced locker solutions.
