Erik Paquet

Erik Paquet is an entrepreneur, avid traveler, and frequent flyer points expert. He spent most of his undergrad years at University of Michigan trying to figure out how to get credit for taking classes in other countries and (sometimes) studying economics and Spanish. In 2008, he got his first rewards credit card and discovered he could book international flights for less than $50 per round trip. After university, Erik began working online while traveling in South America and Southeast Asia, using points to be an absolute cheapo on airfare. In 2011, Erik realized there are lots of other cheapos who needed help earning and using frequent flyer points, so he started Abroaders.com with the goal of making travel cheaper for everyone. When he isn’t trying squeeze more value out of the airlines with travel hacking (or helping friends and clients do the same), Erik loves studying language, doing something active, or taking photos.
