Phoebe Stephens


Phoebe has yet to decide where her stinginess lies in the nature versus nurture debate. Growing up with a father who doesn’t hesitate to rummage through the neighbours’ recycling for empty bottles and for whom comparing gas prices around the city is considered riveting conversation has, for better or worse, been passed down. Having moved to Japan on a whim and opting to teach English as few hours a week as possible, Phoebe has set herself up nicely for a life of penny pinching in Tokyo.
