Performing the romantic classic Giselle, ABC ballet are a troupe of young, innovative dancers from Tokyo. Telling the tragic tale of a young peasant girl who falls for the deceitful nobleman Albrecht, it follows Giselle as she learns of his lies and dies of a broken heart. Joining the Wilis, a supernatural grop of women who force men to dance until they die, she struggles with the possibility of revenge in a tale of haunting sadness.
The dancers of ABC are well known for their dedicated performances and enthusiasm, ensuring this will be a great performance – and all for free. There will be two performances, one on the 18th and one on the 24th – both at 6pm. Since entry is free there are no tickets or reservations available, it is run on a first-come first-seated basis so try to be early if you can.
