The annual Aoyama Festival takes place at the Aoyama Campus, located between Shibuya and Omotesandō Stations.
What happens?
The event draws huge crowds, with over 150,000 attending the event in normal years.
Organized by the local merchants association and the students of Aoyama Gakuin, the festival has included a number of different types of events along with markets, talk shows, concerts, and a fashion show.

This year, the theme for the event is Aurora.
On Oct. 31 (Fri.) there will be student performances at the Aoyama Stage (in front of Building 7).
The opening ceremony starts at 2 p.m., followed by performances from the Brass Band Baton Twirling Club, Chatters Cheer Dance Club, and NACK Dance Club.
The next day is full of student band performances and cover acts, starting at 9:30 a.m. with Oasis and Regal Lily tribute bands. Sets continue through the afternoon with cover performances of artists like NUMBER GIRL, KOTORI, and BOØWY, wrapping up around 6 p.m.
The final day opens with a sports event and live music, including RADWIMPS and Sakanaction cover bands. A jazz dance showcase and the A-1 Grand Prix Award Ceremony follow in the afternoon, ending with the closing ceremony from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
