The annual Aoyama Matsuri takes place on the first weekend of November at the Aoyama Campus – part way between Shibuya and Omotesando stations. The event draws huge crowds, with over 150,000 expected for this year’s bloom-themed event.
Organized by the local merchants association and the students of Aoyama Gakuin, the festival has included a number of different types of events along with markets, talk shows concerts and a fashion show.
