The Arabian Festival (or Arabian Fes as it is officially called) is coming to Yoyogi Park to celebrate the wide-ranging cultures, fashions and foods of Arab countries. The festival is being held in an effort to expand people’s notion of Arabian culture, which varies vastly from, say, Egypt to Morocco to Dubai.
This year, it is held in collaboration with the Earth Garden Festival.
What happens?
There will be belly dancing performances with prominent dancers taking to the stage. There will also be a “shisha competition”, presumably with different cafes competing for the title of best shisha.
