Berlin is a live music event that takes place every Thursday at Ruby Room in Shibuya. It has been running for an amazing 11 years in Tokyo.
The event is completely free; there is no entrance charge.
What happens?
Celebrate 11 years of Berlin and party all night — remember the next day (Feb. 23) will be a holiday!
There will be performers coming from Australia and the US plus some homegrown Tokyo talent. It will be a mix of genres. The bands will play various kinds of rock and the DJs will play indie, house, and later DnB and techno.
Everyone is welcome and many members of the Tokyo music and nightlife scene will be there too. And if it is anything like the last anniversary, it will be a very fun night.
Lineup
You’ll get to see a range of singers and artists, including Galecstasy from LA, Salarymen Acoustic Set from Australia, New Babylon, Taktile, and The Portal.
DJs — guests and in-house — include Boogie Piggie, Hang the DJ, Kotatsu, and fax dorobo.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Add to Calendar
