Did you know that Cat Day in Japan is celebrated on February 22? So why not honour the cute fur balls with this joint photo exhibition featuring Instagram stars, craft stalls, and more.

What happens?

Popular cat creators will gather to sell handmade goods and showcase their amateur and professional photography. The stalls include shops with feline pottery, miniature displays, postcards, and stickers.

Enjoy unreleased photos, illustrations, ceramics and handmade goods, including first-time appearances by Instagram favorite felines.

Eat, train, and fight like a real Japanese sumo wrestler during this sumo demonstration and authentic 'Chanko Nabe' (hotpot) meal.

On February 22 — to celebrate national Cat Day in Japan — you can join a workshop and make a felt kitty cat looking into a bag. Time slots include 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

How to get there

The exhibition will be held in Today’s Gallery Studio (5F) in Asakusabashi (5-27-6 Asakusabashi, Taito City). It’s an 8-minute walk from Asakusabashi Station. Closed on Mondays.
