Dig Shibuya Art Exhibitions and Parade

Technology meets art as exhibitions and immersive experiences take over the streets of Shibuya.

What to expect

There will be plenty to do all over Shibuya, but the biggest event will be a musical parade (called Happy Dancing Rainbow Alliance) along Shibuya Koen Dori Street. The procession will be filled with cute characters created by the art collaboration FriendsWithYou (FWY). Along with that, there will be an artistic takeover of Shibuya Scramble Crossing and a cuddly floating cloud display by FWY at Yoyogi Park Zelkova Trees. For a full list of things to do, check out the official website.

If you’re interested in NFTs, there will also be a NFT stamp rally in the area.

  • January 13 (12:00–15:00): Participate and walk in the Happy Dancing Rainbow Alliance parade along Shibuya Koen-Dori.
  • January 12–14 (0:00–1:00): On each night, the displays at Shibuya Scramble Crossing will be taken over by a special video program.

How to get there

There will be several events and displays all over Shibuya, including Shibuya Koen-Dori Street, Yoyogi Park Zelkova Trees, Kitaya Park, nearby galleries, and Spotify O-EAST.

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
