Edo Wave is an international music and art event showcasing a diverse mix of artists from around the world. The 2026 edition brings in acts from the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. alongside some of Tokyo’s most eclectic bands.
What happens?
Edo Wave has something for all music tastes. Held annually at the iconic Shinjuku LOFT in Kabukicho, the event features a high-energy mix of rock, punk, metal, reggae, pop, and experimental performances across two stages, with DJ sets filling the gaps between bands.
The show is family-friendly, with a kids’ room staffed by a nursery teacher. There will be live painting by The Spilt Ink, and pizza from Napoli no Kama. Everyone arriving between 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. gets a raffle ticket for the lucky draw at the end of the night.
Lineup 2026
The lineup includes BAD MARY (USA), Kathleen Yearwood (Canada), DEAD HAPPY (UK), VAIWATT, Yukka, The Number Zero, FVRMN, Daniela Aiko Group, Ninja wi Ninja, Native Broadcast, CREEP DOWN, and JACK IT OUT.
DJs: Fin, STRANGE LOVE, timothy, and PON Tsuyo.
Live painting: The Spilt Ink. Food: Napoli no Kama.
The live program wraps up at 10 p.m. with a group photo, followed by bar time, DJs, and shopping until late.
Tickets
Tickets are ¥3,300 in advance through e+ (on sale until 6 p.m. on November 28), or ¥4,000 on the door, plus a one-drink order. Under-17s get in free with a one-drink order. You can also reserve tickets through the booking form on the official website.
