Ena de Silva: Crafting Sri Lankan Heritage

Commemorating the works of celebrated late Sri Lankan artist Ena de Silva, this event is perfect for anyone who wants to see her unique style and flair.

What to expect

This exhibition will feature the works of modern Sri Lankan artist Ena de Silva, who worked alongside architect Geoffrey Bawa. The focus will be on featuring and selling newly handcrafted batik pieces produced in collaboration with the Ena de Silva Foundation and Aluwihare Heritage Centre in Sri Lanka.

Notable pieces on display include Sunburst, which decorates the entrance of Bawa’s residence No.11 in Colombo, and the iconic Tree of Life. These and other works are making their debut in Japan. Also, browse an exhibition sale of textiles and homeware curated by Barefoot, the renowned store in Colombo.
