What to expect
Hatsumōde in Japanese is the first shrine or temple visit of the year and has great importance in Japan. If you are unsure of the customs or just want to embrace the New Year in a friendly and welcoming environment, then join the WeLearn Community on January 6.
Feel free to invite your friends and family to join this special occasion. Everyone will first meet at the WeLearn Cafe at 2 p.m. before heading off to the shrine.
How to join
This event is completely free, but you will need to register for a free trial on the WeLearn website to join. You’ll only need to input your email and you can quit at any time.
After your two-month free trial has ended, you can then choose to pay for each event (¥1,100 each) or pay the same amount every month to join as many events as you want.
There are no hidden fees or automatic charges during the trial period.
