If you’re all about the big names at music festivals, head to GMO Sonic. With a lineup of all-star musicians at the Saitama Super Arena, things don’t get much bigger.
What to expect
Held over the weekend, GMO Sonic promises two days of dance and electro music from titans of the genre. There will also be a unique infusion of Japanese culture on stage, with previous years taking place amid virtual sakura trees and plum blossoms.

Tickets
Tickets for GMO Sonic need to be bought in advance at their dedicated website. There’s a whole mix of premium upgrades taking you up to ¥50,000 (for both days), but general entry tickets start at ¥17,000 per day.
