Gotenyama has been a much loved cherry blossom viewing spot since the Edo period and each year the famous and yearly cherry blossom festival will be held.
What happens?
This year’s festival will highlight bubbles, a foot bath, hanami with sake, and of course, the evening illuminations.
Schedule 2025
- March 17 to April 6: A special cherry blossom illumination from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Gotenyama Trust City)
- March 29 to 30 and April 5 to 6: Soap bubble show (Gotenyama Trust Tower 3F, 12:30 p.m. to 13:30 p.m., and Gotenyama Garden, 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.)

How to get to Gotenyama Cherry Blossom Festival
To get to Gotenyama Cherry Blossom Festival, take the JR Yamanote line to Shinagawa Station. You can then either take the free shuttle bus from Takanawaguchi bus stop or walk 10 minutes.
