1,000 drones take over Yokohama and create a spectacular show. See your favorite Japanese anime and pop culture characters as giants in the sky.
Pro tip: This isn’t the only drone show in town. Coca-Cola will feature Santa and Truck above the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse on November 29 (6:05 p.m. to 6:25 p.m.).
What to expect
Characters from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Evangelion, and Ultraman wish you happy holidays in the sky above Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise. They will grow to as big as 150 meters tall and 100 meters wide.
Feeling festive? There will also be a special festive drone show on Christmas Eve.
There will be shows on December 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31.
Timings on each day are a little different but each will have the same content (minus Christmas Eve). The show kicks off at 5 p.m. and finishes at around 8 p.m. Performances last 15 minutes each and there is around an hour’s wait between them.
The Christmas Eve show will finish at 9 p.m.
You will need to purchase a ticket to get up close. Tickets cost ¥4,300 for a seat in the Event Space (without a front-row view, but you can sit down) and ¥6,300 for access to the Boardwalk (front-row views, standing only) and the Event Space.

How to get there
The show will take place at Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, a pay-to-ride amusement park. The venue is a 5-minute walk from Hakkeijima Station on the Seaside Line. It takes around 1 hour and 20 minutes from Tokyo Station.Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
