Music for Isolation – Winter Live

Online
6:00pm – 7:30pm
¥1,500 (advance sales)

Note: Due to the new emergency restrictions in Tokyo, this event will now be online only.

The Tokyo-based duo of Rie Takeuchi (baritone saxophone) and Gideon Juckes (tuba) present their first online concert, broadcast live from the fireside of a 100-year-old Tokyo farmhouse.

Top 10 Album of 2020 (Far Side Radio, London) and nominated for Best Solo Album in the 2020 4Bars Rest Awards, their music weaves a path between old and new, traditional, classical and improvised.

The concert will be performed in low lighting, with warmth and light from a wood fire. It will be delivered with high-quality sound and vision.

The evening will feature Rie Takeuchi on baritone saxophone, Gideon Juckes on tuba, and a reading by Makoto Fujita.
