Anime and manga come alive through cosplay and no one does it better like Japan. Held at Tokyo Dome, the New Layers Paradise Cosplay Festa isn’t as big as other cosplay pop culture events, but it’s one of the classics.
What happens?
New Layers Paradise Cosplay Festival takes place in Tokyo Dome’s Prism Hall and usually pulls in upwards of 3500 attendees. See cosplay from video games to anime — expect a good number of Bleach, One Piece, and Attack on Titan costumes mixed with more modern trends. Even just walking around the Tokyo Dome City area, you’re likely to spot more than a handul of Cosplayers.
Tickets 2026
Tickets for the event are priced from ¥3,800 to ¥4,600. An evening ticket costs ¥2,500, which allows entry from 4 p.m. onward.
You don’t have to cosplay, but there’s a ¥500 flat fee for people only taking photos.
