It’s night at the Zukan Ginza Museum, but with a glass of bubbly.
What is Zukan Ginza Museum?
Describing itself as a “living museum”, Zukan takes advantage of digital art to create installations you can interact with — including all sorts of creatures. It is an immersive museum and its surroundings change depending on the time and weather. In the day, you will be given a hand-held device that records your discoveries.
What happens at night?
Only during Friday evenings, the museum will transform into a place for adults. No one under 20 will be allowed in and instead of being handed a device to play with, you’ll be given your drink of choice (which is included in the ¥1,000 ticket).
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
